As backpackers, we loved the informative staff who organized daily activities, the beautiful terrace, and the cozy interior. The breakfast was amazing, and the hostel felt like a home away from home.

Felt like a fairy tale, no complaints!

During my stay at Stone City Hostel, I was amazed by the central location. It was just a short walk to the marketplace, the Castle, and plenty of restaurants and cafes. The owner of the hostel was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. I had the opportunity to join a free hiking trip to an old aqueduct, which I wouldn't have been able to do on my own. The wifi was efficient, the bathroom was clean, and the room was tidy with towels provided. I loved having a plug right next to the bed for easy phone charging. The hostel also had a lovely terrace where I could relax and enjoy a drink. it was the perfect place to stay in Gjirokaster.

I had an amazing stay at a hostel in the heart of an old town. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful sights and close to restaurants and museums. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, providing valuable information about local attractions. The rooms were comfortable with great beds and ample storage space. The breakfast was a highlight, with a varied spread including eggs, bread, cheese, and fresh fruits. I loved the communal breakfast setup, fostering a social environment for travelers to interact and share experiences.

It would be more convenient if they accepted card payments.

We recently stayed at a fantastic hostel in Albania and had an amazing experience. Stone City, located in a beautiful old town, was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. the hostel had everything we needed, including spacious rooms and comfortable beds. the staff, led by Walter, were incredibly helpful and provided us with great tips on where to go and eat. We also appreciated the filtered tap water that was available, which was a nice touch. Stone City was the perfect place to relax and have a great time with fellow travelers.

The funny thing is that despite the miserable weather, my Thanksgiving stay was brightened up thanks to the wonderful community vibe the property had to offer. I liked how inviting the shared spaces were. the free breakfast that I was offered was a great energy boost and just what I needed to start my day. Location-wise, it's hard to argue with how easy it was to explore the surrounding sights within walking distance. the atmosphere was great and made it easy to connect with fellow travelers.

The sleeping arrangements left much to be desired. Although the beds themselves were comfortable enough, the smell of old, musty blankets and linens was fairly off-putting.

Wonderful hosts, helpful guides, organized tours, rich breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds.

my recent stay at a hostel in gjirokaster was amazing! stone city hostel exceeded my expectations this summer. the staff were genuinely nice, the breakfast was delicious and served on a long dinner table for a sociable atmosphere. the beautiful setting and knowledgeable staff made it a perfect stay.

I had a wonderful time at Stone City Hostel! The owners were incredibly welcoming and gave us great recommendations for exploring the city. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old city, with a stunning view of the castle from our room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a homemade cake that was a highlight.
