We stayed at a beautiful and convenient accommodation in Apollo Bay. The location was perfect, being on the seafront and in the center of town. We enjoyed visiting Marriners Lookout for the breathtaking views. The communal areas were inviting, with a cozy fireplace and comfortable sofas. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals. Our private room had a comfy bed, heater, and balcony with fresh air. The staff were helpful and the parking facilities were ample.

Some guests mentioned that there was no wifi in the rooms, unless you paid for a premium service.

We loved the variety of amenities and facilities offered at this eco-friendly accommodation. The common kitchen and living areas were spacious and well-equipped, making it convenient for families like ours. The clean and comfortable family room had a good-sized balcony and plenty of beds to accommodate all five of us. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center but secluded enough to avoid noise. The staff were incredibly accommodating and kind, adding to our overall positive experience. And as those taking off early, we appreciated the security provided.

Although the rooms were small, they were perfect for a quick night's sleep before heading off the next morning. the shared bathrooms were clean and tidy, as was the living and dining area. the value for money was excellent, and the facilities were much cleaner than I expected. the atmosphere was great with diverse people from all over the world. the common area had comfy couches and a real fireplace to keep everyone warm. it was a great experience at Yha Apollo Bay Eco.

Definitely one of the best budget stays I've had on the Great Ocean Road! Loved the well-maintained kitchen facilities and the comfy loungeroom. Plus, the eco-friendly touches were a bonus. And let's talk about the location – just a stone's throw away from the beach and local cafes.

The lack of tea and coffee was a bit of a bummer. And I must admit, the storage system could have been better – wish I had been able to hire a combo lock for the cupboards in my room.

Enjoyed the variety of activities in the town, from surfing and snorkelling to horseback riding and kayaking. And the passive solar design made me feel like I was in the tropics without needing air-con.

The location of this hostel was perfect for our large group of 15. It was close to restaurants and had a roof top deck that provided a great hangout spot. The rooms were clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
