Found a cozy home base close to shops and fun spots with basic amenities. Loved the chatty owner & quaint balcony. Handy access to snacks! Couldn't cook much due to sparse kitchen gear. Neat towels, washing made easy, plus wildlife sightings by the pool. Willing to put up with some noise for an early start on adventures.

The Bay Lodge Apartments in Gold Coast provided a wonderful stay for my shy teen kids and me. the beautifully decorated apartment had everything we needed and the pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby landmarks. the manager, Lee, was exceptionally helpful, making our early arrival seamless. the location near trams, buses, and the beach was convenient, with grocery stores nearby for essentials. the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable amenities added to our enjoyment, and the family-friendly atmosphere made for a memorable stay. Nearby attractions such as the Sling Shot & Vomatron Amusement Rides and Craft markets provided ample entertainment options for bonding time with the family.

The apartment provided a peaceful environment away from local traffic, and the location was perfect for beach access and holiday entertainment. the staff were very accommodating and friendly, ensuring a hassle-free check-in and check-out process. Minor improvements could include updating kitchen cutlery and providing spare bin liners for added convenience.

The location is really good, ideal for those who don't mind a little walking as it's just a 10-minute stroll to Coles and the beach. Plus, the bus stop right outside the hotel is perfect if you want to explore the theme parks or wander around Surfer's Paradise.

Only improvement needed: Fix the issue of rooms overlooking neighboring properties, which can sometimes be less appealing.

the air con was essential for the heat, and the pool was clean and inviting. having a drinks and snacks dispenser on site was a neat touch, and the friendly owner made our stay enjoyable. the location was convenient for us with a car, and we appreciated the fans, washing machine, and clean towels provided. the setout of the rooms was nicely done, and we enjoyed seeing bats and birds by the pool.

This hotel is excellent value for money, especially considering its prices are much lower than other places in the area. The attention to detail is impressive, with clean and spacious rooms that have a comfy bed. The location is perfect, situated in a quiet area that is within walking distance to everything you need, including supermarkets, restaurants, and the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful, making sure that your stay is enjoyable. Additionally, the basic amenities provided, such as the air conditioning in the lounge area with some chairs, are a great bonus.
