We had a fantastic stay at the guesthouse. the shuttle bus service to the Greyhound was a huge convenience, saving us time and effort. the free breakfast was a great perk, especially for budget travelers like us. the staff, especially Mel, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. the guesthouse itself was very clean and provided excellent value for money. we were extremely satisfied with our experience at Civic Guesthouse.

Ideal location near food and supermarket. Helpful staff. Loads of space in kitchen. Cute library and outdoor seating areas. Quiet. Most comfortable bed in our first week of traveling.

We had a wonderful stay at a guesthouse in Townsville. The shared room with an ensuite was great - comfortable and clean. The hostel had all the facilities we needed, and we especially enjoyed the reading room. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to help us with our travel plans. It felt more like a home than a hostel, and it was also the most affordable place we've stayed in Australia. You can't beat the quality and price of their dorms with ensuite, aircon, fridge, and fan!

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very clean and organised, with daily cleaning services. The air conditioning in our room was a big plus, and we even had a fridge. The communal areas were spacious and there were plenty of places to relax. The hotel's location was convenient, close to the city center and with good transportation options. the staff and cleanliness were the best aspects of our stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a guesthouse in Townsville. The atmosphere was homely and the staff at reception were incredibly friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the free shuttle service from the Greyhound stop to the Ferry terminal. The kitchen and laundry facilities were top-notch, and the dorms were equipped with air conditioning and individual fridges. it was a lovely experience in a charming town.

The staff was fantastic, always understanding and accommodating. the common spaces were always kept clean, and the amenities were regularly cleaned throughout the day. I ended up extending my stay because I enjoyed it so much.

One of the night reception staff members was a bit overzealous about the quiet time policy, constantly interrupting conversations to make sure we were quiet. there was one unfortunate room location that was next to a shared bathroom, resulting in a lot of noise and difficulty getting rest.
