I recently had a stay that was pretty mixed, so here’s the rundown. First off, I really appreciated the location; it was super convenient for the event we were attending. But once I got inside, it felt less like a cozy apartment and more like a bare-bones motel room. I mean, there was absolutely no flooring, which just gave it this cold, prison vibe. The beds were downright awful—like they were trying to outdo each other in being uncomfortable. Plus, instead of blankets, there were these filthy bedspreads that looked like they hadn’t been washed in forever. Now, the so-called two-bedroom apartment was actually just a double motel room with a tiny storage room tacked on. And honestly, the bunks in there were on the verge of collapsing; it felt like one wrong move could send someone tumbling. To make it worse, there was no air conditioning or even an openable window, which made it stifling. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse, I woke up to construction noise at 7am. I felt sorry for anyone staying there who needed their sleep. On the flip side, at least the room was clean. That’s something I can give credit for. The bed was comfy enough, and the place was quiet aside from all the banging. But, there was no room service the entire week I stayed, which was a little frustrating since I was hoping for at least some fresh towels or a little housekeeping. Another thing that bugged me was the tv remote; it was faulty. Like, we had to get up and manually turn the TV on and off because the remote didn't work properly. And when you’ve been out a long day, that’s just the last thing you want to deal with. The street noise was another issue, more noticeable than I remembered from other trips. The facilities felt strangely dated; some of the decor definitely could use some updating. I even found myself wishing for more power outlets, especially in the bathroom—like, come on, we’re in 2023! Packing my own power strips saved me here. Oh, and there was this massively disgusting barbecue I couldn’t even think about using because it was covered in mouse droppings! Seriously, did nobody check that? The pool was equally uninviting; it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and with winter rolling in, it felt a bit neglected. On top of that, the sliding door had this blind that would only come down halfway, so privacy was a real issue since people could just look in. And let’s not get started on that cracked window. As for safety, I had concerns from the get-go. There were gates to get in and out, but they still didn’t ease my mind. One morning at around 5am, I was woken up by this loud altercation outside, complete with yelling that lasted forever. I tried calling the manager but he wouldn’t pick up, which really added to my anxiety. So yeah, it was a real mixed bag of a stay. Some highlights, like the location and clean basics, but a ton of room for improvement in terms of comfort and safety. I'd definitely look for something better next time.

the hotel location was fantastic since it was within walking distance to plenty of eateries and the city center. We also appreciated the easy parking right outside our room, which made unpacking a breeze.

although the car park was a bit tight, the manager was really helpful, directing my husband while he backed the car in. our room was very clean and well-equipped, making it comfortable for our visit. having a great shower with strong water pressure was a definite highlight, and being just a couple of steps away from the community pool was fantastic.

I had a solid stay, even though I felt like a giant in a dollhouse with the bed. the room had all I needed, including a fridge and a microwave—perfect for a single traveler like me who can’t be bothered with complicated meals. the outdoor pool was great for a quick dip, and I loved the walk to the river, despite the questionable scenery. Just a heads up: avoid the neighbor who thinks he's a night-time concert.

This hotel offered great value for money with spacious rooms that had all the essentials like a fridge and microwave. It’s in a central location, just a short walk to some lovely eateries which made meal times a breeze. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with tips to enhance our stay. the air conditioning kept the room comfortable even with the noise of passing trucks outside.
