I reckon, if you're out and about looking to crash in Mackay at a spot that doesn’t break the bank, you'd dig this joint. Place is just solid. Dang good room set-up, pool's a winner, and their staff? Top-notch. Still, solid choice for a good kip. I am a beach bum trying to dodge the hustle, keen to keep it green. Cheers! .

I adored the cozy décor in the lobby and dining area, with delightful floral arrangements brightening up the space. It was so easy to move around, especially for us seniors, with everything conveniently situated on the ground floor and no stairs to climb.

Better signage for seniors' parking spots needed.

stayed at galaxy motor inn. room had a kitchen perfect for us. decent size fridge and separated toilet and shower. staff checked in on me, easy walk to eateries. spacious room with comfy bed. everything you need, especially piping hot water. great air con 🌟

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, jedoch gab es einige Probleme. Es fehlte die Kaffeemaschine oder ein Dauerfilter. Es gab Wein, Saft, Süßigkeiten, Tee und Kaffee als Willkommensgeschenk. Die Lage war perfekt, nahe dem Meer und der Altstadt. Auch der große Stadtmarkt war in der Nähe. Parkplätze waren verfügbar und es gab einen Park mit Spielplatz vor dem Haus.

Die Küche war zu klein für größere Familien.

No major issues, all was fine during our stay.

The lady at the desk was very helpful with recommendations around the area. the room was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. the pool had a fun water slide which was popular with the kids.

The noise from the traffic on the nearby road was unbearable at night and made it difficult to sleep. the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat.
