The staff rostered on to serve in the restaurant on the night we visited were friendly and courteous. They found the menu varied and delicious, and the room service was prompt. the outdoor swimming pool was a great place to relax, and the location near the Mary Kathleen Museum and other attractions was great too.

One thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the hotel. Some areas need a clean-up, and comfortable chairs around the pool would have been welcomed by guests.

The Gidgee Inn was very comfortable and the reception was warm and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Wifi worked! Location only a short walk from the local museum and info centre - which was very good. the swimming pool added to our relaxation, and we enjoyed exploring John Flynn Place Museum and Mary Kathleen Memorial Park and Museum nearby, enhancing our family bonding experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at Gidgee Inn in Cloncurry during a recent business trip. the room was spacious with comfortable beds and a good shower. Parking right outside the door was convenient. the room was clean, well-decorated, and quiet, away from traffic noise. I enjoyed a delicious dinner in the attached restaurant, and the staff were friendly. the outdoor pool area looked inviting, although I didn't get to use it.

Recently stopped by at the Gidgee Inn while passing through. Stayed for one night. the temporary managers, John and his wife, were exceptional, providing impeccable service. Rooms were spacious, clean, and had undercover parking. the restaurant and bar offered delicious food at reasonable prices, with friendly and efficient staff. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming stay surpassing expectations.

We had a pleasant surprise during our stay here. The room was beautifully appointed, clean, and spacious, with a huge bathroom. Nothing not to love 💕

Spent our New Year's Eve at this outback hotel and it was a perfect choice. The dinner menu offered by the in-house restaurant was delectable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had ample parking space in front. We appreciated the presence of a reliable, manned office, always ready to assist us if needed. The location was great, near all the tourist attractions.

The pool was cold and did not have any shade cover. We would have preferred solar heating around the pool area. Additionally, the BBQ facilities did not have any BBQ tools, even though we did not ask for them. Lastly, we would have preferred more free space in the room, especially bench space and a kitchen sink to wash cups and utensils.

The comfort and spaciousness of our room at the Gidgee Inn made our stay truly enjoyable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Despite a slight hiccup during dinner service due to understaffing, the hardworking staff did their best to provide excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
