I recently stayed at a hotel close to Central Rail Station. The location was convenient as it was close to Chinatown and a light rail stop to get to the Lyric at the Casino. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and nice. Breakfast was good value for money. However, the heating in the room was not adjustable, and the water pressure in the shower was low.

The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to parks and tourist attractions. The rooms are well-equipped and the hotel is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a problem-free stay. The buffet breakfast is delicious.

great southern hotel in sydney was a pleasant surprise. the heritage, antique vibe and stunning rooms exceeded my expectations. the helpful staff located my missing item and organized postage.

I recently stayed at the Great Southern Hotel and had a wonderful time. My stay was for business purposes and the location was perfect, being close to the ICC and easily accessible by tram. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being on the 6th floor. The staff was incredibly helpful and even upgraded our room upon arrival. The attached pub/bar had delicious and affordable food, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and great amenities.

I visited Great Southern Hotel for 2 nights and it was perfect for my needs. The upgraded room was lovely, clean, and comfortable with a spacious king-sized bed. The minimal traffic noise on the top floor ensured a peaceful stay. The location was central, only a short walk from Central station and near Chinatown and markets. Free amenities like a jug, tea, and coffee were a nice touch. it was a great value for the facilities provided.

We loved the location of this place! It was so conveniently situated near Central Train Station, and we could easily walk to the convention centre. The staff on the reception desk have shown excellent customer service. Our room had everything we needed, from air conditioning to ironing facilities, and we especially appreciated the free toiletries. The restaurant and bar/lounge area were great for relaxing after a long day, and the staff were always friendly and gave efficient service.

This hotel provided great value for money. The location couldn't be better, situated near Central Train Station and within walking distance of many tourist areas. The Inner section rooms were quiet and offered basic amenities with a window to outside. Though breakfast could have offered coffee on demand and the bacon was overcooked, it did give healthy options with three choices available at an additional cost.

We had a great weekend stay close to the central railway station and the city's theater district. Our room was very quiet, the beds and pillows were comfy, and the restaurant served great meals at reasonable prices. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast which had good food choices.

There were a couple of issues we encountered during our stay. the intermittent hot water in the shower was a bit frustrating.
