We found the hotel clean and well-maintained. the staff were friendly and helpfulwith quick responses to our needs. the location was convenient, close to the train station, shopping areas, and good parks for relaxation.

Comfortable and clean room. Had everything I needed. It was noisy; however, that is expected across the road from the train station and it has a nightclub downstairs on Friday and Saturday nights. If you don't like noise, don't stay. Most of the noise is soundproofed as much as it can be, but nothing earplugs can't fix. Cons: Noise at night.

I enjoyed spending time at the different spaces within the hotel, the new menu was delicious, and I loved the historic charm mixed with modern touches. Cons: Oh, how I adore trying to find parking in a carport that's always full, a true delight! .

The rooms were nicely redone, with brand-new bathrooms and comfy beds, and the prices were reasonable for the city center location. the bistro served up an amazing steak, and having it on-site was super convenient. While the vintage elevator was a fun touch, it wasn't suitable for those with mobility issues. 🍽️🍷🏨

Location was fantastic for my purpose, and the fresh fish and chips on Friday night were delicious. However, the noise from street activities made sleeping a challenge. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

The staff at this pub hotel were incredibly kind and helpful, making our late arrival smooth. The room was comfy with a clean shared bathroom. noise from other guests was a downside, and finding parking was a bit of a hassle. great location and price; would stay again if customer service improves.

I was up all night scratching! the room was alright—had my tea and biscuits, a nice TV. But those bites from the bed bugs! Swollen arm that looked like a balloon, face itching like crazy. Emergency room trip, loads of meds. Couldn't sleep, clients might think I've got the pox. Staff were a bit off, took forever to check-out. Might give it another shot if they fix those bugs! .

The dining experience was a real ripper—scrumptious meals from nearby spots like Pinocchios Wine & Pizza Bar and Tokyo Sushi were spot on. the hotel itself oozes character with comfy rooms and a top-notch atmosphere. Plus, the staff were as friendly as can be!

Despite the food being top-notch, the noise from the club downstairs was a bit much, turning dinner into a disco. Cheers!

I always return here. Great staff returned my sim cards! Everything I need is here: Wi-Fi, car park, luggage storage, bar, dining. TV, elevator, kettle, golf. Perfect with kids' menu, wheelchair access. Air-con, no smoking. Ideal for city trips.
