As an environmental scientist and surfer, I was drawn to Ibis Mackay for its convenient location near the airport. Despite some check-in issues and room maintenance problems, the staff was accommodating and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a decent stay before catching my early flight.

the ibis was incredibly clean, and its location couldn't be better - right across from the airport! i learned that despite being close - it's surprisingly quiet. the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room service dinner was a real treat after a long journey.

The staff at this hotel , , from the reception to the restaurant , , were fantastic. They were welcoming and always ready to assist with any requests we had. the room service was prompt and efficient, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. the restaurant had delicious food, and we didn't have to venture out after a long day of travel, as the meals were satisfying.

The breakfast and coffee could be improved. the bacon was served cold, and the coffee was subpar.

The room was fresh and new, making for a pleasant overnight stay while traveling by plane. The staff at reception were friendly and the rooms were clean. The location was also convenient for flying into Mackay.

Conveniently located near the airport, the hotel offers surprisingly quiet rooms. Beds are comfortable and there is ample parking, including for trailers. The in-house restaurant serves delicious food, such as the Crispy Skin Pork Belly. Perfect for short stays with reasonable prices.

The location was great for catching my flight. the staff were friendly and offered welcoming complimentary drinks and snacks. the room was cozy and the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep.

The bathroom was very small and cramped, making it difficult to move around in. the dining area was too cold and made me feel uncomfortable while eating.
