The room was splendid with a well-stocked mini-fridge, fast wifi, and a lovely location close to both Stawell and Halls Gap. the hotel offered a spa and an indoor swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby nature. the only small hiccup was a locked room in the suite, quickly resolved by the attentive staff. a cozy retreat with delightful surprises and excellent service! 🌿

the team worked hard during peak season, the pool and lake were fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. some amenities were lacking, like cutlery and a hairdryer. Despite some minor hiccups, I appreciated the tranquil atmosphere and tasty meals.

we had a really pleasant stay at magdala motor lodge & lakeside restaurant. our room was spacious with a good tv, comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with thoughtful touches. the staff were friendly and the restaurant dinner was delightful. the setting by the lake was lovely, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. overall, a great overnight stop between melbourne and adelaide.

We had a fantastic stay over NYE at this lovely hotel. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. The family room with a spa was spacious and clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. The back-door access to the relaxing lakeside area was a highlight, as we were able to feed the friendly swans, ducks, and their adorable babies. The indoor pool was also a hit with the kids. We had a wonderful experience overall and will definitely be returning. Thanks!

A comfortable and pleasant stay. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the proprietor who had already switched on the heater in my room. The room itself was a charming refurbished shearers quarters, complete with all the necessary facilities. The location was perfect for my needs, as it was conveniently close to the SeaLink ferry. Additionally, there was a bistro serving delicious meals and a spacious guest room available for 24-hour WiFi access.

We had a relaxing stay by the lake, which was a nice feature of the hotel. It wasn't too far from the town center, so we could easily explore the area. The restaurant on the premises made it convenient to have meals, and the room itself was clean and comfortable.

The hosts were super friendly, and we enjoyed activities like tennis, swimming, and canoeing. Easy access to the Grampians, and special thanks to Host Kate for allowing us to check out late.

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by nature and a tranquil lake. The rooms are spacious, clean, and provide a comfortable stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent restaurant attached to the hotel, which exceeded all my expectations. The service provided, from room service to housekeeping, was top-notch. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. I was impressed with the friendly and warm service, making my time here truly enjoyable.

We spent our Christmas holiday in a motel close to Grampian National Park. the complimentary canoe was a bonus; it was unexpected but very much appreciated. We used the canoe frequently on the small lake near our room, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. It was close enough that we didn't have to drive to the park, and the value was really good compared to Halls Gap rooms that were all booked during Christmas.

The toilet door didn't lock, which was a real inconvenience. It was quite aggravating to find that out after we needed to use it, so I would suggest knocking before entering.
