I snagged a private room with a shared bathroom—super clean and quiet despite the bar nearby! The location was fabulous, and I felt like I was living in the jungle. Great value for a solo traveler like me!

The fridge was an overachiever, freezing everything overnight—who knew ice cubes could be so dramatic? And the bed felt like I was back in summer camp—glorified bunk beds, dare I say!

Staying at Magnums felt like a pleasant escape! Surrounded by lush gardens, my Queen Cabin was spacious and comfortable, ensuring restful nights despite being near lively spots. The shared kitchen made meal prep easy, especially with a supermarket nearby.

However, I did encounter a few annoyances. The front desk staff could improve their local knowledge for providing recommendations. Plus, there were some minor issues with luggage storage that added a little confusion.

A perfect spot in the heart of Airlie! So close to shops and attractions. They offer free luggage storage which is super helpful. Carla was a gem—she arranged our day trip to Whitehaven and provided a warm blanket!

Though the shower could use a bit of a refresh and a better design (water splashes everywhere! ), overall, the experience was enjoyable.
