Our recent stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, attending to our needs promptly. the room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a stand-alone bathtub and a fireplace that added a touch of luxury. the view of the garden from the room was lovely, and the location on the hillside provided picturesque views of the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options from homemade muesli to Eggs Benedict, all made to order and delicious. the hotel itself is beautiful, with great views and clean communal areas.

Loved the room - huge, cozy, with a comfy bed and gorgeous natural lighting. the garden area was a chill spot to relax, and the terrace offered fantastic views 😍. Only downside was the mismatched room photos, but it didn't really affect our amazing overall experience! Jake's hospitality, the beautiful building, and the lovely atmosphere definitely earned a return visit in the future.

Recently stayed at Maylands, a charming building surrounded by peacefulness. Enjoyed proximity to a park run, easy bus access to town, and great amenities. the room was spacious, cozy, and offered stunning garden views. the staff, especially Jake, were welcoming. Loved the colonial house style, comfy bed, and top-notch shower. Breakfast was delightful, and we'll definitely return for another stay.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at this beautiful heritage house. the spacious and comfortable rooms were well-decorated and very clean. the breakfast had a fantastic variety and was superb. the staff were friendly and gave us great recommendations for sightseeing in the area.

it was difficult to get around without a car as it was a few minutes' drive from the city center and walking would have been far.

I had the most incredible stay at Maylands Lodge. the staff were so lovely and attentive to all our needs. the location was perfect, nestled in a quiet suburban neighborhood but still close to the heart of the city. Our room had stunning mountain views and was beautifully designed with all the amenities we could ask for. Every night, we returned to a clean room with homemade treats. the breakfast in the morning was a delightful experience, with delicious food prepared by the talented chef. Maylands Lodge truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for a perfect stay!

This hotel exceeded our expectations with luxurious amenities and excellent service. From the spacious and comfortable rooms to the in-house chef's delicious breakfast options, everything was top-notch. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, providing personalized attention to detail and making us feel pampered. the location was perfect, just a short distance from town but in a quiet and serene setting with beautiful views. Private facilities and bar/lounge area made for a relaxing and indulgent experience.

The only minor issue we encountered was with the garden area, which seemed to be a work in progress. While the property was beautiful overall, the gardens appeared to lack adequate care and attention.

Our stay at Maylands Lodge was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The beautiful building and tasteful renovations created a cozy and luxurious atmosphere. Our room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stunning views of Mt Wellington. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary continental breakfast, which was delivered right to our room the night before our early morning day trips. The breakfast itself was delicious, especially the eggs benedict. Despite not being located in the center of Hobart, getting around was easy with the help of Uber, and all our day trips had no problem picking us up from the lodge. We appreciated the secure parking on the property as well. We truly couldn't find any faults with our stay at Maylands Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hobart. we had an amazing experience and would definitely choose to stay at Maylands Lodge again in the future.
