The Mid City Motel was perfect for our stay. The manager, John, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We had an excellent stay here, with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby to enjoy around this venue. The room was spacious, clean, and filled with amenities, and the beds were very comfortable. The best part was the divine water pressure in the shower and bath - we didn't want to get out! Plus, the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

Had a great time exploring the area as everything was within walking distance. Loved the great cafes and pubs, and the central shopping area was just a stone's throw away. The friendly staff provided excellent service and even found and kept my son's shorts which he left behind. The spacious and clean room offered excellent facilities including a well-stocked kitchen. The room was perfect for a weekend getaway.

The bed was a bit too hard for me, and it would have been better if they could have provided a softer one. Unfortunately, the room smelled of musty carpet with poor air circulation.

Our stay at Mid City Motel was comfortable and convenient. The location was excellent, with shops, restaurants, bars, and the Cave Garden within walking distance. The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. We appreciated the late check-in process, as keys were left in a safe for us to collect at the reception. Parking on site was also available. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and we enjoyed a good night's sleep.

The room had some minor drawbacks, such as gnats/small flying bugs at night and a lack of a screen for the shower, leading to a wet bathroom floor or an awkward shower experience. Additionally, the drainage pipes outside the rooms were dirty and the carpet was pulling up in places.

The TV had a great selection of streaming services like Stan, Netflix, and ABC iView, which you could log into with your own account. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The hotel also provided extra pillows and blankets, as well as a microwave, kettle, toaster, and iron/ironing board. The location was excellent, with shops, restaurants, bars, and a beautiful Cave Garden within walking distance. Plus, the late check-in process with keys in a safe was very convenient.
