I felt very at home at this charming little hotel. the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. the room, though small, was clean and comfortable. the location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the train station, yet quiet and peaceful. the hotel even had an elevator, which is a rarity in French properties. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast in my room with generous portions of butter and jam, as well as hot milk for my coffee. the reception staff were kind enough to look after my bags while I explored Grenoble. a great value for money and spotlessly clean hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for us, being very close to the train station and tram station. This made it extremely convenient for us to explore the city using public transportation. Additionally, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy for us to find places to eat and enjoy our time in this city. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and welcoming, providing us with a warm welcome upon arrival and giving us useful advice and recommendations. The cleanliness of the hotel was also remarkable, with spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. this hotel provided great facilities and an excellent location close to transportation and amenities.

Great value for money with a comfortable bed and a superb view from the fifth floor. The hotel's location near the city centre and main railway station made it very convenient, and the staff, especially Olivier, were knowledgeable and helpful. The nearby local restaurants were also a plus.

The location of Lux is unbeatable, being just a stone's throw away from the train station. It's also conveniently close to Minatec and the university, making it a great choice for business travelers or students. the staff, especially Olivier, were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout my stay. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, so dining options are never far away. the bed was comfortable and I enjoyed a superb view from the firth floor. the hotel offers a standard continental breakfast to start the day off right.

The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the train station and close to the tramway station for easy access to the city. We were able to walk everywhere, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The garage across the street was handy for parking.

That we were denied a late check-out of just 30 minutes, which was a bit disappointing.

Staying at Lux was a breeze as it was just a 1-minute walk from the railway station and close to tramway station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Grenoble. Despite being a basic hotel, it ticked all the boxes for a short stay - affordable, clean, quiet, comfortable, and convenient. the owner was exceptionally friendly and even took care of our motorcycle's security. the rooms were simple but immaculate, and although breakfast wasn't buffet-style, the staff was accommodating. There were also plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.

Exceptional service from the manager, Olivier, who went above and beyond to take care of everything during our stay. The location was terrific, close to the train station, shops, and restaurants. The room, although small and basic, was adequate and offered good value for the price. We also appreciated the opportunity to store our bicycles in the basement. The continental breakfast, while simple, was tasty and fresh. Despite some minor drawbacks such as limited English communication and small room size, our overall experience at Hotel Lux was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a great experience staying at Lux in the heart of the old city. the location is super convenient, just a stone's throw away from the railway station. the comfortable bed provided a good night's sleep, and the value for the money was excellent. I also appreciated the fact that the owner allowed us to store our bicycles in the basement. In the morning, we had enough time to explore the city on foot before checking out at 11am.
