The location was convenient, with easy access to the night markets and Smithfield shopping centre. It was also easy to find from the airport, which was a relief after a long journey. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff provided great service. The breakfast options were decent and the view from the pool area was lovely. I was impressed with the facilities and the advantages they offered.

The kitchen facilities were small and overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy cooking.

This hostel has a great vibe and is perfect for backpackers. It offers social activities, a pool, and a bar with good prices. The location is convenient, with a free shuttle bus to town and a gorgeous walk along the sea into the city. Additionally, the staff, particularly Matt at the reception, is helpful and friendly.

I had a great experience at a hostel near the airport with good access to the Esplanade. The ambiance was wonderful, with friendly staff who were always available to help. The hostel had a nice sunny pool and a sandy volleyball court, perfect for relaxing and having fun. They also offered a $3 dinner and free breakfast, which was a bonus. it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend the hostel to others.

The common areas are great, with a well-stocked bar and affordable drinks. The double room was spacious and comfortable, and we felt safe with the key card door. The hostel's location is convenient, with a shuttle bus service to the city every hour. The free parking was a bonus when available.

Staff were amazing and very helpful. I loved the free breakfast which included toast, cereals and a variety of spreads. the pool and outdoor area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city.

The shared bathrooms were not kept clean at all times and the dorm rooms were quite cramped. I also found it difficult to get a good night's sleep due to noisy guests coming in and out at all hours.

We had such a great time at Summer House Backpackers! The onsite parking was a major plus, especially since we planned to spend a lot of time exploring Cairns. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to answer any questions we had. We loved the community feel of the hostel - there were always people playing volleyball, table tennis, or enjoying live music in the bar. Plus, the free yoga classes were a wonderful way to relax and unwind. the atmosphere was energetic and fun, and we made some great new friends. The location was convenient too, with a shuttle bus that made getting into the city a breeze. And let's not forget the perks like free bikes to borrow and the pool to cool off in. We couldn't recommend Summer House Backpackers enough - it's the ideal place for young, active travelers looking for a fun and social hostel experience.

The hotel's location near the esplanade was fantastic. The staff were friendly and offered great food deals at the nice bar. The shuttle bus to the city was convenient. The hotel had a nice pool and outdoor area.

The private rooms had air conditioning issues, with the units turning off at night. the location was a bit far for walking, around 30 minutes, but the esplanade was a beautiful area to explore with the free bikes or shuttle service.
