We loved staying here! The location is amazing – right by the stadium and all the best restaurants. It was great to have room service and laundry facilities available, and our room was really comfortable and had a lovely balcony where we could relax. The staff were all friendly and helpful, too – we really appreciated their help.

Amazing Pool and Great Location

We absolutely loved our stay at Oaks Townsville Gateway Suites! The pool was absolutely amazing, especially for our young kids. They had a large shallow area where the kids could play and have a great time. Even though we forgot our floaties, the pool made up for it and provided a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel was also perfect, making it very easy for us to get around town. We enjoyed dining at Ribs and Rumps and the yacht club, both of which were conveniently close to the hotel. The room, although a bit dated in terms of the bathrooms and furniture, was overall clean, tidy, and enjoyable to stay in. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location and an amazing pool experience.

We had a fantastic time on our mini holiday. The location was perfect, with the ferry, clubs, and city centre all within walking distance. The room was spacious and modern, with a large bathroom and a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was amazing. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a restaurant right in front of the hotel. it was a wonderful and relaxing experience.

Great stay overall! The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed the complementary snacks and drinks that were offered upon arrival. The location was perfect - we were able to easily walk to all the shops and restaurants in the area. The apartment was clean and spacious, with a stunning view of the city from the balcony. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay.

The noise levels from neighboring rooms and the street were quite disruptive at night. We found it difficult to sleep through the noise, which was a little frustrating.

We had a great stay at the hotel located in just the right spot. On the corner of Palmer Street with all of its restaurants, bars, and hangouts. In the other direction, a short walk will get you into the heart of the city with access to The Strand. The room itself was comfortable with a little verandah to sit outside on. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely pool. The laundry facilities were convenient and the wifi worked excellently. The receptionist who checked us in was also great.
