The room had an amazing view over the water, perfect for a family with kids. Kitchenette facilities were handy and there was a lounge area for extra space. Great location with a highly recommended Indian restaurant nearby. Everything you needed was in the room, including a washing machine and dishwasher for longer stays. Friendly and efficient check-in staff and free parking on site. Close to the Fantasea ferry pier.

Felt very lucky to have found it, no complaints.

We had a very comfortable stay at Oaks. The room was clean and tidy, and the check-in process was easy and efficient. The car parking was convenient, especially for our tall 4WD vehicle. The nearby Masala Indian restaurant was also a delicious and affordable dining option.

My Christmas stay was amazing with great facilities and friendly service. the hotel was located in a great spot close to the beach and lots of shops nearby, making it easy to explore. One of the best aspects of my stay was that they offered complementary breakfast and a free shuttle to the nearby entertainment district, which was a nice surprise. I also enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the room.

There were a few things that could be improved. the noise from neighboring rooms was quite loud, which kept me up throughout the night.

My stay at Oaks Townsville Metropole Hotel was great value for money. The room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed. The hotel's location was quiet, yet conveniently close to nearby restaurants and the ferry port for trips to Magnetic Island. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially the lovely lady at the reception in the evening.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with the addition of some salt and pepper in the room.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Not only was it located in the centre of everything, but the service was top-notch. The staff demonstrated Service with a Smile and could not have been more helpful. Our room was equipped with everything we could need, from ironing facilities to a washing machine, and the air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable. We also enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with views of the waterway - definitely a highlight!

Would definitely recommend this place to our friends.
