The location of the hotel was convenient with easy access to restaurants and attractions. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, with plenty of amenities. The daily top-ups were a nice touch.

The hotel didn't offer free parking which made it difficult to carry our luggage. we were disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed on Thanksgiving, forcing us to find alternatives.

The presentation of the restaurant is impressive, with lovely old furnishings and a great atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the towels are fluffy. The staff at checkout are friendly and helpful, providing a positive overall service experience.

The shuttle bus service to races and Silverton begged belief.

The AC was very effective and the coffee making equipment in the "wardrobe" was adequate. The renovated Art Deco interiors, with the two big fires in the lounge/dining area, added warmth and atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was good, and the staff was really good too.
