The ambiance was truly magical, like stepping back two centuries. Our bedroom was comfortable and quiet, and my kids loved climbing the high tower. the location was convenient, with restaurants nearby. the breakfast was simply amazing, and the dining room had a charming atmosphere that made us feel like we were in a fairy tale. the staff was friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience possible. a delightful stay in this beautiful 200+ year old house with old world charm.

We got great value for our money at Vila Aurora Guest House. The room had a charming character and the location was perfect for visiting the Palace Hotel and forest. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home.

We loved the charming ambiance of the Vila, which felt like stepping back in time. The renovated grounds were beautiful and the location was perfect, within walking distance to the spa and town of Luso. The newly renovated bath and shower provided plenty of hot water. Our room, a suite with two beds, was perfect for friends sharing. The parking in the driveway was convenient.

Felt like visiting family, no complaints.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale. The building is a small palace nestled in the midst of a lush garden, truly a hidden gem. The lady who greeted me was incredibly warm and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in, just like the rest of the house, had an old-world charm that made me feel like I was staying in a castle. It was incredibly romantic and added a touch of magic to my trip. The breakfast served was delicious, with tasty delicacies like fresh cheese and presunto. And when the lady offered eggs and bacon, I couldn't resist, and they were absolutely delightful. I even had the pleasure of enjoying my breakfast on the balcony of the ground floor, adding to the dream-like ambiance. The entire place was immaculately clean, and I was provided with fresh towels for the swimming pool. The attention to detail and the overall experience left me in awe.

While the stairs corridor was a bit narrow, it didn't hinder my stay in any significant way. Additionally, some areas of the property, like the terraces and swimming pool, could use a bit of maintenance and sprucing up.

We had the most incredible experience at Vila Aurora Guest House. This charming old building is like a fairy tale castle, situated in the middle of a lavish garden. the host, Sylvia, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. the room was clean and spacious, with lovely furniture and a spa bath. the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a variety of tasty options. the location is ideal, close to the stunning Busaco National Park, as well as Coimbra and Aveiro. We felt welcomed and at home throughout our stay, enjoying the pool, sitting room, and dining area. Highly recommended for a peaceful and unique getaway.

This place is absolutely incredible, with its historical charm and unique atmosphere. The breakfast in the charming dining room is a great start to the day. The ample free parking is a bonus, although the entrance gate can be a bit narrow for larger cars. The pool is fantastic, and the observation deck offers breathtaking sunsets.
