The renovated grounds were beautiful and the location was perfect, within walking distance to the spa and town of Luso. The newly renovated bath and shower provided plenty of hot water. Our room, a suite with two beds, was perfect for friends sharing. The parking in the driveway was convenient.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale. The building is a small palace nestled in the midst of a lush garden, truly a hidden gem. The lady who greeted me was incredibly warm and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in, just like the rest of the house, had an old-world charm that made me feel like I was staying in a castle. It was incredibly romantic and added a touch of magic to my trip. The breakfast served was delicious, with tasty delicacies like fresh cheese and presunto. And when the lady offered eggs and bacon, I couldn't resist, and they were absolutely delightful. I even had the pleasure of enjoying my breakfast on the balcony of the ground floor, adding to the dream-like ambiance. The entire place was immaculately clean, and I was provided with fresh towels for the swimming pool. The attention to detail and the overall experience left me in awe.

While the stairs corridor was a bit narrow, it didn't hinder my stay in any significant way. Additionally, some areas of the property, like the terraces and swimming pool, could use a bit of maintenance and sprucing up.

This charming old building is like a fairy tale castle, situated in the middle of a lavish garden. the host, Sylvia, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. the room was clean and spacious, with lovely furniture and a spa bath. the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a variety of tasty options. the location is ideal, close to the stunning Busaco National Park, as well as Coimbra and Aveiro. We felt welcomed and at home throughout our stay, enjoying the pool, sitting room, and dining area. Highly recommended for a peaceful and unique getaway.

This place is absolutely incredible, with its historical charm and unique atmosphere. The breakfast in the charming dining room is a great start to the day. The ample free parking is a bonus, although the entrance gate can be a bit narrow for larger cars. The pool is fantastic, and the observation deck offers breathtaking sunsets.

This XIX's Palace shows you the charming atmosphere of a mediaeval English castle. Luso is a small and beautiful town, that thousands of people have visited because its thermal waters and its relaxing environment. The natural surroundings of forest and garden, the fresh lake with swans, the the blue sky and the friendly people will make your stay unforgettable. This Palace is surronded by very good restaurants, that serve typical Portuguese meals. I was able to visit Bussaco Palace, The Natural Parc of Bussaco, the military museum, the thermal spa, and many other beautiful places. our honeymoon at vila aurora exceeded all expectations. the attentive staff prepared a beautiful surprise for our anniversary, the room was cozy and had a jacuzzi, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options. a truly unforgettable experience.

The maintenance of the property was lacking, with visible humidity spots and mold on some walls of the room. This was a downside to an otherwise beautiful property.

The peaceful surroundings and beautiful gardens added to the pleasant experience. Restaurants and cafes nearby were great. The family bungalow provided a private and quiet stay. Silvia and Laine went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their responsiveness to our needs, including providing a comfy cot, was outstanding. Can't wait to come back!
