The kids absolutely loved the spacious family room with a comfortable couch for family movie nights. the buffet breakfast was a hit, and the gym kept us active throughout our stay.

My wife says that clearer instructions for activating the lifts would have been helpful.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, enjoying the amazing cocktails and interacting with the friendly restaurant staff. there were cleanliness issues in the room that could be improved.

The views from our room over the city were sick! the comfy beds, delish breakfast, and drinks at the bar were so on point. the staff were super welcoming too.

One thing that could've made our stay even better for us party animals would be having a cool rooftop pool or a DJ at the bar for some extra fun vibes.

The dining gem at Rydges Geelong is all about those heavenly cinnamon rolls that'll make your tastebuds do the happy dance! Plus, the fresh breakfast spread and super comfy bed seal the deal. Nearby hotspots like Bear and Bean and Top Of the Town Pizza are a stone's throw away for a culinary delight.

No hot choccy for the little ones, and the shower in rm 210 felt like a wonky hose. Mini bar mishap got sorted out, but the manager's call went MIA.

The check-in was very friendly and efficient, the car park very easy to access, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the full buffet breakfast exceeded my expectations. the hotel offers good views and comfortable rooms. I appreciated the roominess and enjoyed the lobby area and restaurant. Despite needing updates, the facilities were clean and comfy. the swimming pool and outdoor options for relaxation were a plus, though the pool needed attention. the nearby landmarks like the Geelong Bollard Trail Walk and Steampacket Gardens added to the overall experience, great for family bonding.

The spacious room with a king bed and double spa bath made me feel like royalty. As a guest with physical handicaps, the easy access and comfort of the room were a great relief.

The connecting door to the other room made it a bit noisy at times.

During my recent business trip to Geelong, my director chose Rydges for our accommodation, and I have some positive thoughts to share. the location of the hotel was excellent, and I enjoyed my room during the first night. the hotel offers thoughtful amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre, on-site parking, and 24-hour reception. I appreciated being close to Eastern Beach, a picturesque spot along Corio Bay, perfect for relaxation and recreation. the interactions with the staff were pleasant, and they were always friendly and helpful.

It wasn’t worth what we paid, and I found the street and area surrounding Rydges to be a bit grim.

On a positive note, the location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the city and local restaurants. The reception area and breakfast area were tastefully done, creating a pleasant ambiance.

The hotel lacked basic cleanliness standards, with filthy carpets, walls, and air conditioner grates covered in dust.

the staff at Rydges were nice and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which we had through room service for an additional $5. It was great value for money, and we also had affordable drinks and dinner during happy hour. it was a pleasant experience and I would consider staying there again.
