We recently had a fantastic stay at Rydges in Melbourne. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to the airport via Skybus and a short tram ride to Bourke St. The room we booked was a queen bed spa room, which provided ample space for myself and my son. It was so convenient to be able to put the children to bed and still enjoy watching TV without disturbing them. The room was spacious and had modern decor, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff at Rydges were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. We also appreciated the online check-out option, which made our departure efficient.

Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is conveniently situated nearby Chinatown with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Additionally, the Princess theatre is a stone's throw away. The hotel rooms are comfortable and come with adequate facilities such as a bar, restaurant, and parking with a comparable pricing to nearby parking stations.

There were some issues with the cleanliness of the rooms reported by guests.

The breakfast food was generally good and the staff were very friendly. the beds were very comfortable and there were complementary items that were useful for my city trip.

The hotel was quite old and in need of updating. the air conditioning unit was noisy and the décor was dark and dismal.

We loved the delicious and plentiful breakfast, the friendly staff, and the excellent location for accessing theatres. The concierge was also very helpful, sorting out a surprise note for my daughter.
