Business travel brought me to Gympie, and I found the motel close enough to town. the room was decently priced and conveniently situated. A bit of a mix-up with breakfast, but overall, a fair stay. the grounds were well-kept, and having a fridge and microwave was handy. the single beds were a bit unruly! My room lacked utensils, which caused a small inconvenience. the staff's eagerness to rush me out on check-out day was a tad amusing.

Our recent stay at the Shady Rest Motel was fantastic. The location was superb, with a shopping center and RSL nearby. The room was impeccably clean, and we appreciated the undercover parking, especially since it was raining when we arrived. The hosts, Wes and Julie, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The spa room we stayed in was competitively priced and perfect for our anniversary celebration. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and the full cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. Despite a minor issue with the check-in time, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Shady Rest Motel.

Although the bed was comfortable, the traffic noise affected our sleep. Additionally, the bathroom window allowed too much morning light into the room, and the bed could have been more comfortable.
