clean rooms - perfect location for events nearby - helpful staff. enjoyed the various amenities - especially the great shower with heating - AC unit, and electric blanket.

I attended the Tasmanian Open Chess Tournament and stayed here. the room was warm and comfortable, perfect for the cold weather. the bathroom was modern and the shower fantastic. the location, just a 5-minute walk from my event, was ideal. the staff were helpful, and the room had all the essentials, including a microwave.

Can just recommend this hotel.

Easy access to room from rear carpark. Clean and tidy, recently refurbished. Ample amenities included. Great shower, heating options available. Free WiFi provided.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. I expected to pay much more for what turned out to be a great deal. The room was newly renovated with attention to detail, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Plus, the hotel's location was perfect - within a short walking distance of various eateries.

The air conditioner is quiet, providing a peaceful stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are dining options nearby, making it easy to find meals.

The floors outside the shower recess can be slippery when wet, posing a potential safety issue.

During our stay at Somerset, we were impressed with the comfortable and clean room. The air conditioner was exceptionally quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Although there was a small issue with not receiving a bath mat in subsequent stays, the overall presentation of the room was well-maintained.

The location was spot on, close to everything we needed, including the IGA, the beach, and Burnie. Our room, number 7, was spacious with a brand-new bathroom that had all the mod cons. the staff were super helpful with directions to the platypus park, and the overall stay was comfortable and quiet. Didn't have breakfast there, but the only minor downside was that my room wasn't serviced daily, and I ran out of milk with no one to ask for more before leaving the next morning. Overall, a fab stay! 👍

The hotel room was recently refreshed and had great pricing for a quick business trip in a Northern Tasmanian location. the rooms were clean and tidy with signs of ongoing improvements. the hotel was close to local attractions and a fantastic fish and chip shop, making for a great end to a long day.

There were some negative aspects to the stay. the single room was not as advertised on the website and was in need of refurbishment.
