The air conditioning was very noisy and needed filter replacement, which was surprising considering the current climate. The bedside light had a fault and started smoking, and the TV didn't work correctly, which was frustrating.

I loved staying at this gem of a hotel located right across the Queen Victorian Building. The modern and clean renovation of the old building was just perfect for me. The location could not be beaten, with easy walk to Darling Harbour and close to Town Hall railway station and George St light rail. Free coffee in the lounge area was a great way to start my morning. I would highly recommend this hotel.
