the recently renovated rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. the central location was perfect, with shops and a supermarket nearby. the friendly staff and tasty meals made my experience delightful. being in a quiet town was a welcome contrast to the bustling city centers i visited. overall, a tastefully done makeover and spacious bathroom added to the positive experience.

Despite being above a pub, the room was peaceful and noise-free.

The room at Telegraph Hotel was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy couch and a luxurious King bed. The ensuite bathroom was brand new and spacious, although it took a moment to figure out the shower tap. Despite the high ceilings, once the room was heated it became quite cozy. The bar fridge was stocked with milk and water, and the free Wifi and onsite parking were convenient. I appreciated that the staff booked a table for us in the busy dining room and we enjoyed a delicious meal. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend Telegraph Hotel to others.

While it would have been nice if the heating was already on when we arrived, it wasn't a major issue. Additionally, the staircase leading upstairs was quite steep, which may pose a challenge for some guests.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was modern, clean, and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of noise from the pub downstairs, so falling asleep was a breeze. The staff, especially the blonde female manager/owner, were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome. The food at the pub was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely be returning with my family. It's clear that this place is highly regarded within the local community. Well done!
