Amazing location, beautiful surroundings, comfortable bungalow, friendly and professional staff, delicious food.

Nothing it was perfect.

Our stay at Thala Beach was absolutely amazing. We were seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, and this hotel delivered. The beach was stunning and tranquil, and the 5* hotel amenities provided the ultimate comfort. The food was delicious, although slightly pricey, it was worth every cent. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay better. The rooms were spacious and we loved the unique touch of the winged chairs. The cabins in the treetops were charming and provided a private and relaxing atmosphere. Buggy drivers were wonderful and the views from the location were breathtaking. an excellent experience.

The rooms were spacious and had a beautiful view of the surroundings. The balcony was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The hotel is located in a great spot, about 10 minutes south of a popular town and 20 minutes north of a major city. It was convenient to explore the area. One thing I really enjoyed was the private beach. It was long and wide, with white sand and clear water. It was the perfect place to unwind and soak up the sun.

The food options were limited and expensive. There was only one restaurant and the meals were not very satisfying.

We had a romantic getaway at a beachfront resort that offered an amazing experience. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed taking advantage of the complimentary activities, like star gazing and nature walks, which were led by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The highlight of our stay was arranging a beach picnic, complete with delicious food and champagne, delivered to us in a wicker basket. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and ensured that everything was perfect for my husband's birthday celebration.

The bungalow we stayed in was tired and in need of some updates. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and worn out, and the rugs and curtains were in poor condition.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The location was breathtaking, nestled in a beautiful natural area close to all the attractions of Far North Queensland. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness was excellent. I also loved the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the hotel had ample parking and transportation options. the hotel's location in a secluded peaceful natural environment near a World Heritage area and close to all the attractions of Far North Queensland made this stay truly unforgettable.

Peaceful, ocean near, beautiful setting, lovely rooms, comfy bed. Rooms set amongst trees, excellent design, breezy cool bar. Friendly staff, parrots visit trees near open restaurant. Birds, nature, and ocean confluence. Great room, lovely environment, sea views. Outstanding food, super friendly staff. Beautiful views, sandy and rocky beaches, bit of a walk. Secluded forest location, comfortable cabin. Friendly and helpful staff. Free activities, delicious food. Lots of birds and a friendly wallaby.

Beautiful venue with comfortable and practical tree house rooms. Superb breakfast with homemade preserves and coconut yogurt. Enthusiastic and friendly staff, some offering nature trips. Respectful towards wildlife. Impressive palm tree entrance.

The resort provided an excellent wilderness retreat with great service and good food. The bungalow we stayed in had breathtaking views of the sea and coastline. The cleanliness and standard of the unit exceeded expectations. Additionally, the friendly and helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable.

One thing to consider is that the resort is located in a wilderness area, which means you might encounter wild animals. While this is an amazing experience for some, it might scare away some guests.

As a couple, we loved the beautifully designed nature reserve, with attention to detail and identification plates next to trees. The Native Palms walk was a paradise for nature lovers. The staff was friendly and the food delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The bungalow we stayed in was comfortable and the king bed was super cozy. The staff were professional and friendly, and the restaurant had delicious food in a stunning setting. We loved exploring the nature preserve and spotting all the wildlife, from butterflies to wallabies. The free tours offered by the hotel were a great value and added to our experience. we highly recommend this resort.

While the pros strongly outweighed the cons, it is worth mentioning that this resort is surrounded by wild animals. If you're not a fan of bird calls in the morning or bugs, this might not be the place for you.

I recently had the most incredible stay at a beach nature reserve. The location was absolutely stunning, with the beach just steps away from the resort. It was a paradise for nature lovers like me, with plenty of activities to choose from. I was able to explore the beautiful rainforest and go on amazing nature walks and trails. The rooms were comfortable and well-designed, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the breathtaking views from the restaurant. it was an unforgettable experience.

That there was only one restaurant serving all meals, which would have been more convenient with an additional option nearby.

I recently stayed at Thala Beach Lodge in Port Douglas for a few nights and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and focused on providing great customer service. The restaurant had the most breathtaking views of the coast, and the hampers they offered were excellent value for money. The rooms were well air-conditioned, and the resort had beautiful sandy and rocky beaches with private access. I highly recommend Thala Beach Lodge for its serenity, stunning location, and wonderful nature.

The peaceful atmosphere of the hotel helped us to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the lovely views of the beach and forest while lounging in the hammocks or by the pool. The restaurant was a real highlight, with delicious food and drinks to enjoy while taking in the stunning vistas. It was great to have the chance to see so many lizards and birds up-close, and we loved being close to rock pools and mangroves for exploring.

We were a little bit taken aback by the abundance of small creatures in and around our room. While some guests may appreciate the chance to get up close and personal with nature, we found it hard to sleep with lizards and skinks creeping in and out.
