The breakfast provided was quite adequate, with a variety of cereals, juices, fruits, toast, and hot beverages. We also appreciated the availability of alcoholic beverages by the glass or bottle. The hosts, who are resident artists, were friendly and interesting to talk to. The old-world charm and exceptional artwork throughout the establishment added a special touch. We absolutely loved our stay at The Chalet Guesthouse And Studio. The location was excellent - it was nestled in a quiet area, just a short walk or a quick drive from the Hydro Majestic. The accommodation was cozy and full of charm. Not only was it extremely clean, but the comfortable bed and extra heating options in the room made it even more enjoyable. The hotel facilities were impressive, with an abundance of artworks on display, reading material, guides, and even board games available for guests. We also loved the lovely dining/lounge area with its large open fireplace, where we could relax with a glass of red. David, the host, was incredible. He truly loves what he does and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The attention to detail throughout the property was evident. The overall vibe of the place was calm, relaxing, and friendly, thanks to both the ambiance created by David and the wonderful guests staying there. I had such a pleasant stay at this charming guesthouse nestled in the tranquil mountains. The rooms were cozy and the location was wonderfully peaceful. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were absolutely delicious. The manager made me feel so welcome and the artwork throughout the property was fascinating. I can't wait to visit again!
