loved my recent stay, exceeded expectations. homely feel, convenient to transport/shopping. wifi/tricky TV but microwave/balcony compensate. inexpensive tariff, better than expensive glitzy hotel. bathrooms always clean, location excellent.

As a couple, we loved the surprise breakfast on our second night. The delightful Victorian-style decor and attention to detail, including different themed rooms, added to the charm. The small balcony with a view of birds feeding below was a delightful touch. The quiet location was convenient, with shops, cafes, and the train station nearby.

Felt very lucky to have found this gem, no complaints whatsoever.

The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start our day. We also loved the attention to detail and period decor throughout the hotel.

There were occasional issues with cleanliness, as we found some minor garbage in the bathroom and hidden under the furniture.
