Had a great Thanksgiving weekend at this cozy pub/hotel. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby river. the attached restaurant served delicious food and offered a free platypus spotting walk. Plus, the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep.

Being an older building, some rooms were a bit cramped and lacked air conditioning, meaning electric heaters were used. the occasional train passing by and locals singing late at night could be heard, so bring earplugs.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The building itself had loads of character and charm, giving it a unique and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant served excellent food, and the bar had a great selection of drinks. I particularly enjoyed the funky Japanese decor in my room, adding an extra touch of style to my stay. The hotel is conveniently located in a central area, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I was extremely impressed with the comfort and quality of this hotel.

I stayed at a hotel that was conveniently located in the center of town, close to amenities and with easy access to Cradle Mountain. The room had comfortable beds with clean and fresh-smelling linen. The staff were attentive and friendly, and there were complimentary chocolates on our pillows. The dining room was warm and cosy, offering a good selection of tasty meals at reasonable prices. I also enjoyed watching a wild platypus for over half an hour by the lovely river near the hotel.

I was disappointed to find that there was no heating option in the bathroom, which made it very cold when drying off and getting dressed.

The hotel's location in Deloraine was perfect for exploring the town and surrounding areas. We also appreciated the off-street parking, which made it easy for us to bring our bikes along and securely store them inside. The highlight of our stay was the river walk at dusk, where we had the chance to see platypus up close - an amazing experience! we had a lovely stay and highly recommend the Empire Hotel as a great base for cycling and walking adventures.
