We absolutely loved our stay at Oak & Anchor! The design and attention to detail in the room were impeccable, making us feel like we were in a luxury magazine. The bed linen was so comfortable, and we especially loved the quilt. The little touches of luxury and elegance throughout the hotel were delightful, including the special scrubs, rumballs, and shortbread. The breakfast provided was generous and delicious. We also appreciated that the hotel provided robes for bigger bodies, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and pampered. The location was perfect, being central and within walking distance to the beach and town. We were also impressed with the local ceramics, soaps, and other décor in the room. our experience at Oak & Anchor was fantastic!

While we had an amazing time at Oak & Anchor, there were a few aspects that could have been improved. the room was quite noisy due to the music and diners in the cafe/bar downstairs.

Had an amazing New Year's stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a touch of luxury through its linen and toiletries. The restored building was a sight to behold. We enjoyed hanging out at the inside and outside bar areas, and the staff made us feel at home. The hotel is situated in the heart of town which made it easy to access local attractions and the beaches.

Our room had an exposed shower and toilet which didn't offer any privacy. It made it a bit difficult for us to use the bathroom without disturbing each other.

We stayed in a recently renovated room and it was absolutely luxurious. The attention to detail was exquisite, with exclusive amenities and fully stocked bath caddy for relaxation. The historical charm of the blue stone walls was complemented by modern creature comforts. The restaurant was top-notch, with fantastic breakfast and dinner options. We received a room upgrade and loved the top quality bed and linens. We can’t wait to come back to this venue.

Although the pros heavily outweighed the cons, we did have one minor issue. The lack of a sliding barn door between the bedroom and bathroom made a bathroom trip in the middle of the night a noisy experience for one partner.

I absolutely loved the outdoor private deck in our stunning Bridal Suite. It allowed us to relax and enjoy nature to the fullest. The hotel's location also provided lovely walks and quality shops to explore. The staff were incredibly friendly and the bar and pub downstairs were great.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a great location, close to the center of town. The cafe downstairs offered a delicious breakfast and the restaurant had a cozy ambiance. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom had modern fixtures and was well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel also provided thoughtful touches such as T2 teas and biscuits. a lovely experience!

That there was no kitchenette or area to make coffee or a snack in the room.
