Love the position of the Retreat. Overlooking the river, lovely green lawns, right in the town and close to amenities. the room we stayed in was clean, had bathroom toiletries provided and the balcony was nice. Staff were accommodating and welcoming. Relaxation was easy with the outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers, and garden area. Exploring nearby landmarks like the Ferry Artists Gallery and Hawkins Lookout added depth to our family bonding experience.

The view and cool air were delightful. Wisemans Retreat Motel offered a luxurious suite at a great price, with excellent amenities and smart TVs.

I recently had a nice enough stay at this hotel. The location on the river was a great feature, offering beautiful views and a sense of tranquility. The staff were friendly upon arrival and check-out, making us feel welcome. Our room, although basic, was generally clean and had a comfortable king bed. The hotel also offered a free buffet breakfast which was delivered right to our room. It was a nice touch and added convenience to our stay.

All in all, our experience at this hotel was quite pleasant.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed every meal. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay at The Retreat At Wisemans again.

we had a wonderful stay at wisemans retreat motel. catherine at the office was super helpful, even offering us a late check-out. our suite felt luxurious, with a cool room upon arrival and a lovely view of the river through the trees. plenty of space, smart TVs, and a great location in a quieter, picturesque spot.

Inviting and charming motel with a beautiful location. The room was clean and cozy, offering a pleasant view. I enjoyed playing tennis on the grounds and the easy walk to nearby shops and ferry. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Unwinding by burnt orange cliffs with terrible TV? An hour troubleshooting! Roaches in bathroom, noisy plumbing, reception. Partner never fixed TV. Cockroach hotel! Only food options were bowling club and pub. Shampoo mishap made shower sudsy disaster. Beds uncomfortable. At least room had good coffee machine and central location to village. Friendly staff, but tired facility. Northern-facing balcony, but microwave inconveniently located. Not ideal experience, but bed was comfy!

the location of the hotel was great, situated close to food venues and everything we needed. The room was comfortable, although a bit dated, and the surrounding area was lovely. We enjoyed being able to easily access the pub and the beautiful river nearby.

The WiFi was not working during our three-night stay, and we were not informed until we arrived.

The breakfast buffet worth the $25 and the staff were friendly and welcoming. the air conditioning managed to keep us cool during a 40 degree day. the hotel's location was convenient for my business trip.

The bathroom toilet seat would not stay up. the lack of conditioner in the room was inconvenient.
