The new Shear Outback Centre is quite a sight to see. My hosts provided the best affordable accommodation, feeling like a home away from home. I relaxed by the pool with a hot cuppa, and the free Wi-Fi made me feel like royalty.

Exploring nearby landmarks like the Long Paddock and Bishop's Lodge Historic House created memorable family bonding moments.

Arriving late, the room was toasty warm like a hug from a fluffy koala, with towels as thick as a kangaroo's tail. Despite being in town, the peaceful night was as quiet as the Outback.
