The room was gorgeous and the breakfast was amazing. I would DEFINITELY go back! the only downside was that the pool area looked different than in the photos. a great experience.

Our room was on the small side, but it felt cozy, like a warm hug from a friendly gnome. We enjoyed breakfast by the fireplace, feeling like royalty in a tiny castle. Janette feeding Kookaburras from the balcony was a whimsical touch that delighted us.

The accommodation at this hotel may not be the largest you've seen, but it's cozy and matches the charm of the restored buildings in the area. the dining room offers extra space and a cozy fireplace where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast with plenty of choices. the hosts, Janette and Richard, are incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved watching Janette hand-feed the kookaburras from the balcony with a stunning valley view, while Richard serenaded us in a ceremonial kilt with his bagpipes – absolutely delightful!

Some guests might find the rooms a bit on the compact side, but they are perfectly fine for a short stay. Perhaps a bit more storage space would be helpful for those with larger luggage.

We recently stayed at Walhalla and had a fantastic experience at Wild Cherry Bed & Breakfast. The hosts welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived late at night after getting lost in the mountains. Their hospitality and friendly smiles made us feel right at home after a long, exhausting drive. The view from the hillside location was breathtaking and provided a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. The breakfast in the dining room was delicious, with a great variety of choices, and we enjoyed sitting by the cozy fireplace. Despite a few minor drawbacks like intermittent hot water and a lack of microwave, our stay was enjoyable and we would definitely recommend this unique and charming establishment to others. we had a wonderful time at Wild Cherry Bed & Breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at Wild Cherry! Richard and Jeanette were charming hosts who made us feel right at home. the ambience of the building gave a sense of calm and relaxation, despite it being relatively new. the view from the house overlooking the valley was breathtaking. We also appreciated the easy access to power sockets for charging our devices. the hosts were passionate about their town and their friendliness was contagious. One of the highlights was listening to Richard play the bagpipes high on the hill, providing a delightful experience for everyone. We also enjoyed feeding the King parrots and kookaburras from the dining deck. the town of Walhalla itself was beautiful and rich in history. the gold mine tour was informative and the train ride was a great way to explore the area.
