I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The vintage furniture and traditional Austrian elements created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas, such as the lobby and dining area, were well-maintained and provided plenty of seating options for relaxation. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The hallways were wide enough for easy navigation with a walker, and there were handrails in the stairways for added support.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could offer more assistance with luggage. Carrying heavy bags up the narrow stairways can be quite challenging for older guests.

Close to the public beach with plenty of amenities for kids.

The location is very convenient, close to Obertraun Railway station. The staff was very helpful and even helped us with our luggage. The room was decent and the kitchen was well-equipped with pots and cutlery. It is only a short walk away from Hallstatt and the Five Fingers.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were excellent. We especially loved the location, as it was right next to the pier where we could easily take a vintage boat trip to Hallstatt. Being near the lake was also a bonus, as we enjoyed the beautiful views and had fun participating in water activities. Additionally, there was a great restaurant nearby where we could have a delicious dinner.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the lake and within walking distance of the quay for boats to Hallstatt. It's also a great base for a day trip to Dachstein. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the WiFi connection is perfect.

We got great value for our money at Apartment House Seerose. The room was spacious, with a lovely balcony and good facilities. The location was ideal, close to the train station and with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to answer our questions and make our stay comfortable.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider variety of items.

I highly recommend Seerose to everyone!

absolutely loved our stay in obertraun. house seerose was even better than before. the friendly host and beautiful lake views made us feel right at home. easy access to hallstatt and delicious breakfast options. a perfect base for exploring the national park.

We had a great stay at House Seerose. the staff was very friendly and even lent us umbrellas when it was raining. the rooms, although small, were comfortable and had fresh bed sheets, pillows, and blankets. the highlight was the beautiful view of the mountains from our room. the location was convenient, with a bus stop to Hallstatt just 3 minutes away. Plus, the lake behind the apartment was a lovely sight, perfect for enjoying in the summer.
