I had an amazing stay at Dormio Resort in Obertraun. The chalet was cozy and comfortable, with clean rooms and a big living room. I loved having my own ensuite bathroom and the option to relax in the sauna. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the mountains and convenience to the nearby lake and ferry. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a perfect vacation.

The cottage itself was clean and spacious, with nice wooden furniture. We also enjoyed the local restaurants nearby, with tasty cuisine and friendly staff.

The cleaning fee was unreasonably high and not included in the room price. The cleaning service itself was poor, with missing amenities like toilet paper and linen.

We had a fantastic time at Dormio Resort! the location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the midst of mountains and with a beautiful lake nearby. We didn't even have to leave the resort because there were so many activities to enjoy. We spent hours kayaking, rented a bicycle with a child seat for our little one, went hiking, and relaxed in the indoor heated swimming pool. It truly exceeded our expectations. the resort is also conveniently situated close to the train station, the lake, and the shuttle boat to Hallstatt, making it easily accessible by car, train, or bus. the chalet we stayed in was in good condition and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the outdoor area which was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and afternoon tea. the common spaces were spacious and had plenty of comfortable furniture with great views. the restaurant at the resort had delicious food, a nice view, and friendly staff. the reception shop had everything we needed for a short holiday at decent prices. the check-in and check-out process was quick and the staff was helpful. it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

My family and I recently stayed at Dormio Resort and had a fantastic time. We stayed for a week to enjoy the beautiful nature of this area and do some biking and hiking. The location is excellent, surrounded by stunning natural scenery and with plenty of biker and hiker tracks to explore. We loved being so close to the Hallsaedtersee and the cableway to the top of Krippenstein. The chalets were well equipped, especially those with their own sauna and terrace. We also appreciated the convenience of having a bathroom on both floors of the chalet. The spacious living room and kitchen were perfect for family activities, and the dining area was always bustling. The ski and boot locker was a great help too. the atmosphere, view, facilities, and morning air were incredible, and my family had a wonderful time in this little slice of paradise.
