Hotel Zum Schwarzen Baren is located right in the center of a quiet little "dorf" on the Danube. It offers a fantastic location for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious and furnished in a cozy country style, with large bathrooms and balconies to enjoy the view. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a good variety of options, and there is also a spa and bikes available for guests to use.

There is a smoking room in the restaurant, which may not be ideal for non-smokers.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location was perfect, right in the center of town and just across the river from Melk. We were able to explore nearby towns easily. The service here was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. They even offered us a welcome drink upon arrival! The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the sitting area and the terrace where we could enjoy the views. The hotel also has excellent amenities, including an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and spa center. We had a rejuvenating massage and enjoyed relaxing in the spa lounge. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

The spa facilities were nice and clean, and the staff was friendly. the location was also convenient for exploring the nearby area. there was a good selection of books available to read in the lounge area.

The breakfast was not very satisfying. the room was also quite dark due to the dim lighting.
