The size of the room was quite small and could have been bigger for the price. the walls were quite thin, which meant that I could hear some noise from neighboring rooms.

The breakfast was excellent and the service was top-notch. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. Surprisingly, it's not as expensive as you would expect for such a high standard.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were my favorite ever, with a fantastic shower and bathtub. boutique hotel de castillion - small elegant family exceeded my expectations in every way. the family-run hotel was friendly, warm, and incredibly helpful. the recently renovated and luxuriously decorated rooms were better than any other themed hotels i've stayed in madrid or singapore. it was easy to walk to all the best sites and they gave great restaurant recommendations. the lift was a bonus for traveling with young children.
