our recent stay at shangri-la in voua was amazing, but our experience at this resort was even better. the facilities were great, a short walk to the beach and pool, and the kids had so much fun. the staff were incredibly kind and their smiles made our trip unforgettable.

no early accommodation provided for our exhausted toddler after a long flight, resulting in a 4-hour wait in a hot lobby. a bad start to an otherwise wonderful stay.

The staff at Shangri-La Yanuca Island are amazing. The food is delicious, albeit a bit pricey. The beds are comfortable and the gardens are well-maintained and stunning. The reef and ocean life are breathtaking. The location is beautiful. There are plenty of free activities for kids and lots to see.

The resort offers a wide range of water-based activities, including kayaking and paddleboarding. The staff is friendly, charming, and very helpful. The rooms are well-equipped and have comfortable beds. The resort has beautiful gardens, a beach with clear water for swimming, and a great location near a lagoon. There are also various events and activities, such as volleyball, coordinated around the pool. the staff and the friendly atmosphere were the highlight of our stay.

I had an amazing stay at this island resort. the territory is huge, with plenty of space to walk around. the two beaches are beautiful, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. the coral reef near the main beach is a must-see for snorkelers. the resort is family-friendly, with a fantastic kids club, babysitting service, and lots of pools and activities for children. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. it's a great family resort with something for everyone, from infants to older kids.

During my Christmas stay at a beachfront hotel in Voua, I loved the stunning views of the lagoon from my spacious and well-equipped room. the hotel had a variety of restaurants to choose from, offering delicious and diverse cuisines. the buffet at the Lagoon Restaurant was particularly impressive with its extensive selection of mouthwatering dishes. Additionally, the friendly and cheerful staff contributed to a warm and enjoyable atmosphere.

The complimentary drinks and beach towels were a nice touch. the hotel was located near a beautiful beach with crystal clear water perfect for swimming. there were plenty of activities to do such as kayaking and paddleboarding.

The hotel had little to offer during the evenings as all the pools and activities closed quite early. the hotel seemed to be more focused on families, with little to no options for couples looking to have a romantic weekend away.

We also enjoyed the complimentary beverages during happy hour, which added to the festive atmosphere. Additionally, the range of activities offered, such as kayaking and snorkeling, provided us with plenty of entertainment options throughout our stay.

One aspect that we found disappointing was the lack of availability of tables during happy hour in the adult-only section. It became increasingly difficult to find a spot as the week went on.

The view from our room at Shangri-La Yanuca Island was absolutely stunning, overlooking the ocean. The breakfast in the main restaurant was delicious and the staff there were fantastic. We were impressed by the friendliness of the lifeguards, who remained cheerful even when dealing with grumpy patrons. The tour office on-site helped us organize amazing day trips, and there were ATMs available for cash withdrawals. The staff even took us to our room on buggies and there was a convenience store for snacks. The air conditioning in the rooms was excellent and the wifi worked perfectly throughout the resort. The front gate staff added a fun touch to our stay with their smiles and warm greetings. The resort had great amenities, including a news agency, cafes, and restaurants, and there was a souvenir store on-site as well.

We felt really comfortable during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

The Deluxe Ocean View room was great, but next time we would choose the Lagoon view rooms for their convenient location near the kids club, lagoon pool, and restaurants. The beach was absolutely stunning, with white sand and great snorkelling. The breakfast buffet was amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. Additionally, the resort provided high-quality water sports equipment, perfect for families looking for fun activities.
