The best aspects of my stay at this hotel were the friendly welcome from the hosts and the delicious tea and cake that they provided upon arrival. The tranquility of the gardens and the beautiful building filled with history also stood out to me. Additionally, I appreciated the convenience of being able to store my bikes in the shed and the informative displays throughout the hotel and gardens.

The house oozes history, with a jaw-dropping museum and a vibe that immerses you in the past. The garden is simply amazing, perfect for winding down after visiting WWOI museums. The friendly and enthusiastic wardens make you feel right at home, and the cup of tea is superb. Highly recommended for history buffs and anyone who loves unique experiences.

My partner and I had an incredible stay at Talbot House. We were on a WWI road trip and staying at this historic hotel was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the history and vibe of the era. The house and museum were absolutely fascinating, and the beautiful gardens provided a serene and peaceful setting. The wardens were exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic, making us feel welcome and at home. We loved sitting in the garden with a cup of tea, surrounded by the reminders of the house's importance in World War I. It was the ideal place to unwind after our visits to the museums in Ypres.

Strongly recommend this hotel.
