We stayed at a very spacious 2 bedroom suite above the office at Cocotal Inn And Cabanas. the suite had 2 baths, a full kitchen, and beautiful views of the water from most of the rooms. the pool was clean and had plenty of lounge and regular chairs for relaxation. We also enjoyed the chairs and thatched umbrellas on the beach. the hotel had many bikes available for free, making it easy to ride into town. the availability of golf carts for rent was a plus. We appreciated the assortment of books and games available for use. the staff, especially Ben, was extremely friendly and helpful. Ben even contacted us prior to our arrival to provide assistance and arrange transportation.

The included transfers were a real bargain - just make sure not to bring any luggage, as there is no room! The 8-sided design made me feel like I was trapped in a geometry lesson. And the chance to stop in town for supplies? What a thrilling shopping excursion.

Oh, it was just terrible that the private water taxi wasn't available 24/7, it's not like people need sleep or anything.

The best aspects of our stay were the free use of bicycles and kayaks, allowing us to explore the area at our leisure. the location was key, with many good restaurants nearby and the convenience of being close to snorkeling spots. Additionally, the staff was very nice and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable.

The worst aspects of our stay were the lack of hot water in the shower and the inability to adjust the shower head. It was also disappointing that shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were not provided.

I had an incredible stay at Cocotal - great manager, attentive staff, well-kept place. Kayaks and bikes available for use. Peaceful location with easy access to Secret Beach and San Pedro town. Loved the swim dock and friendly resident dogs. a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The property was immaculate, and the photos accurately captured its beauty. We were pleasantly surprised by the privacy and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The availability of complimentary bicycles and kayaks was a bonus, and the snorkeling and diving were outstanding. The guest room journal was a nice touch, and we enjoyed reading about others' experiences. We highly recommend this hidden gem and can't wait to return for a longer stay. The general manager, along with his son and two sweet dogs, made our time here even more special. The location was perfect, close to town but still peaceful. The separate cabanas were cozy and the overall property was stunning.

the grounds and our room on the ground floor of the main building were well-maintained and very clean. the location of the hotel is ideal and the area is very safe. the staff, especially Yahaira, Benito, and Joanna, were like family to us. the snorkeling excursions we took, organized by Benito, were reasonably priced and well-managed. the guides from 'Searious Adventures' were knowledgeable and emphasized safety. the other guests were friendly and shared great recommendations with us. We also enjoyed the hotel's close proximity to restaurants like 'Aji' and 'Rain'. the free use of bicycles and kayaks added to our overall enjoyment. Cocotal Inn and Cabanas provided a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This hotel is in a great location close to a recommended restaurant and walking distance to other dining options on the beach. The room with a sea view and kitchen was a great value for the price, and going to the “secret beach” was a highlight of the trip.
