Spotless rooms and friendly, helpful staff.

I found myself on the 'construction side' of the hotel for both nights, which was incredibly disappointing since I had hoped for some peace. Additionally, the WiFi connection was unreliable.

The room I was assigned was not ready upon arrival, which was incredibly frustrating after a long journey. Also, the store on-site closed too early, so I couldn't buy any essentials, and I wasn't informed about it until check-in. Adding to my annoyance, there was no breakfast option for early departures, which left us scrambling before catching our flight.

The hotel boasts a fantastic rooftop restaurant with stunning views and delicious food , making it a highlight of the stay. The comfortable beds and welcoming staff added to the pleasant experience.

The rooftop restaurant was closed without any notice, leaving us disappointed!!! The A/C shuts off when you leave the room, making it incredibly uncomfortable in the heat!!!

I was utterly dismayed by the fact that I had to hang a sign to get my room cleaned—how completely quaint. The noise from renovations was simply unbearable, totally ruining my expectations for a luxurious experience. I anticipated a gracious upgrade for my inconvenience, but alas, I was just treated as a regular guest. Almost gave it a good review.

the golden bay hotel was super nice! i loved the rooftop restaurant, the food was delish and the views were just amazing. rooms were clean and the beds were real comfy. there's a little store downstairs which was super handy for snacks and stuff. i felt safe walking around the area.

also, my room safe was broken but they fixed it quickly.

The stay had its highlights, like the cozy rooms and well-prepared restaurant meals—though the cafeteria-style dining had some limited offerings. Room service was efficient, yet the layout with non-traditional numbering was a bit confusing.

golden bay belize is a gem! the junior suite with ocean view was stunning, and the big store with the cafe offered amazing bubble tea. the comfy bed made for a great night’s sleep. it’s perfectly located with breathtaking sea views that add to the whole experience.
