I spent 5 nights in an Ocean Front Bungalow. There were plenty of activities like fishing, kayaking, and sailing to a sandbank for swimming. Meals were excellent and filling, with an emphasis on fresh seasonal fruits. The snorkeling staff were exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere.

Beautiful setting for a peaceful getaway.

My stay had a few disappointments that I regret. The dining experience wasn't as varied as I hoped. there were no menus for meals, and I felt that it limited our options significantly. Additionally, the heat at night in the bungalow was challenging, even with the air conditioning running, making it uncomfortable to get a good night's sleep. The limited beach access and some areas littered with trash took away from the overall beauty I expected. I wish these issues had been clearer beforehand.

The Saturday night barbecue was a unique experience, where we enjoyed freshly caught barracuda cooked for the guests.

The beach area was disappointing as there is a wall preventing easy access to the water, and the sand was coarser than expected.

Oh, the cured meat was an absolute treat, paired perfectly with the amazing Belizean breakfast! Plus, the island was blissfully quiet, great for a relaxing vibe after a day of sailing to the sandbank for swimming!

However, the A/C had a mind of its own at times and the huts felt a bit damp. Cozy, yes, but enclosed bedrooms would really up the comfort level.

The resort was a perfect spot for our large family getaway, offering endless activities like kayaking and paddleboarding in serene waters. We truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and fantastic food, especially during breakfast. The kids loved exploring the beach cabana area, which had an amazing breeze.

My wife says that the meals could be more diverse for families.

Just a great fit for a weekend breather in Belize City with good value for cost. I really enjoyed the fresh squeezed juice served with lunch every day, it was a nice touch! Bring bug repellent, the mosquitoes can be a bit much.
