the air conditioning hardly worked, which made my stay almost unbearable. i also had to hound staff for towels, taking way too long to establish basic service. on top of that, i expected some sort of upgrade after all this inconvenience, but apparently that’s just a dream at sunset caribe. i almost gave it a decent review, but just couldn’t.

i had a wonderful stay at sunset caribe. my previous trip to san pedro was nice, but this time exceeded my expectations with a spacious, well-kept condo featuring a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony overlooking the pool. everything felt fresh and clean, making my experience truly enjoyable.

Had the most lekker romantic nights with views that made my heart skip—a must for any sunset lovers! The staff were pure chommies, always down to help and point us to the best local spots for food. Oh, and the kayak rentals were a proper bonus for lagoon adventures!

Only downside was the check-in took a bit long. felt like we were just waiting forever after our long trip.

I spent four nights at this place. The room had enough space, and I enjoyed having the kitchenette. The terrace offered nice views. I found myself appreciating the sunsets from the balcony. I’m someone who loves a relaxed atmosphere, so sitting outside was important to me. Though I encountered some service issues, the overall environment was pleasant. I’m used to a different pace as a New Yorker, so this was a change for me.

My stay at Sunset Caribe Belize was absolutely delightful! The one-bedroom condo I occupied was beautifully maintained, offering stunning ocean views right from the balcony. The pools were immaculate, and I enjoyed the delicious offerings at the bar.

Housekeeping could use some consistency.

the views from the room balcony were breathtaking and perfect for sunset shots. we had issues with the golf cart we rented, leading to a much longer wait than expected.

Stayed in the One-Bedroom Bay View Condo for 3 nights. The room was super spacious and spotless. Loved having a fully equipped kitchen and a separate laundry room, which made things so easy. The lounge area was comfy, and the balcony had an amazing view of the pool and lagoon. Just a short walk to great food at the truck stop too! Really enjoyed it!

The stay was quite relaxing with stunning sunset views and a lovely clean pool. My two-bedroom condo was super cozy and made for a delightful retreat after busy days. Enjoyed the proximity to fun activities nearby!

But dear, I had neighbors who sounded like they'd won a karaoke contest—real ear-splitters! Also, I think I lost a few pounds running to grab a snack at the restaurant up the road!
