The location of the property was perfect. It was secluded enough to offer privacy, but still close to town for convenience.

The dinner service needed to be confirmed well in advance, which was a bit inconvenient.

The coconut tree house was perfect for a couple, with amazing privacy and an outdoor shower. The room was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers upon arrival. The owners were thoughtful and helpful, offering great day trip recommendations and arranging taxis. The location was ideal, just a short 10-minute drive into town and close to many tourist spots.

No negative aspects to mention. The stay at this hotel was exceptional, with no issues or complaints whatsoever.

This place is truly amazing. Located outside of San Ignacio in a beautiful forest setting, this small bungalow complex offers you a unique experience. The bungalows are very spacious and have everything you need. The hosts Claudia and Frank are very friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Try Claudia's breakfast with fresh bread on their beautiful terrace, it's heavenly. Ask for their recommendations on things to see and do, you won't regret it. Plus, they have sweet and cuddly dogs and other cute animals on the premises, perfect for animal lovers. We had a fantastic 4-night stay and would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you Claudia and Frank for an extraordinary stay.

The road leading to the lodge was rough and could be challenging to navigate. The water in the shower did not stay hot for very long.

The Coconut Treehouse where I stayed was quaint and unique, perfect for a romantic getaway. I loved the outdoor shower and the deck with the hammock, it was so relaxing to just hang out and listen to the birds. The hosts, Claudia and Franklin, were warm and welcoming, and Claudia's cooking skills were exceptional. The gourmet breakfast and dinner were both delicious and beautifully presented. The lodge also offered great recommendations for day-trips and helped arrange excursions. I highly recommend this retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful and secluded resort experience.
