We stayed at Villa Cayo for four nights and it was truly an exceptional experience. The view from the rooftop villa was absolutely gorgeous, and waking up to the sounds of birds in the valley was a delight. The villa offered complete privacy and was furnished comfortably, with a well-equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook. Ken and Virginia, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always anticipating our needs. They even helped us arrange tours and transportation. The overall experience was fabulous - definitely one of the best travel experiences we've had!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm welcome and superb service from the owners and staff - they made us feel like VIPs! The breathtaking views and stunning surroundings truly took our breath away. This place strikes the perfect balance between jungle seclusion and easy access to town amenities. Public transportation right at our doorstep made it a breeze to explore the local area. The top-notch furnishings and kitchenware made us feel right at home. The tinted glass in the rooms provided privacy without sacrificing the jaw-dropping views. And even though we're not avid birdwatchers, we were mind-blown by the 50+ species we spotted right around the property. Virginia and Ken went above and beyond in their hospitality, always ready to answer questions and provide great recommendations. Sleeping on the top floor felt like a dream among the treetops. The owners even recommended fantastic taxi drivers and tour companies who treated us like royalty. We were blown away by the excellent, friendly staff who thoughtfully provided starting supplies like coffee, salt, and pepper. The quiet, clean, and private atmosphere truly allowed us to unwind. It's clear that the owners have put their hearts into creating this haven. And let's not forget the amazing location - it was convenient and offered endless opportunities for adventure. The staff's incredible helpfulness and accommodation made our experience truly unforgettable.

The full-service kitchen was a big plus, allowing us to prepare meals and enjoy the convenience of a home-cooked Christmas dinner. The location, though a bit remote, offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The lack of basic cooking supplies, such as oil and spices, which would have been helpful for our stay. the location required either having a car or relying on taxis, limiting our independence.

The bathroom was luxurious with a spacious rain shower and plenty of water pressure. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the convenience of having drinking water provided.

We would have appreciated a few more kitchen essentials, such as oven mitts and larger bowls.

We highly recommend Villa Cayo and would love to return in the future.
