The overall experience was one of luxury and ease, leaving me completely satisfied with my stay.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the city center. The room was spacious and well laid out, perfect for families with children. The recently renovated bathroom was clean and had a large window. The continental breakfast had a great variety of options, including typical English breakfast dishes, cereals, milk, fruit.

You can easily explore the city center and visit the Cathedral, which is just a short walk away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff are friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with any requests. The continental breakfast is a delicious way to start the day, offering a variety of options. The views from the rooms are picturesque, showcasing the charm of the historic buildings.

The lighting in the rooms could be improved, as it was a bit dim.

Noisy at night.

We loved the cozy and warm rooms, perfect for a base to explore. The location was superb, close to the Marlowe Theatre and the High Street. The staff member who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast offering was substantial and even had vegan Baileys. A real gem for solo travellers, with spacious single rooms that even had a bath. The restaurant served delicious traditional English fare.

This hotel is marvellously located right in the historic centre of Canterbury. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was comfortable with a lovely four poster bed and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast provided in abundance was a great start to the day.

All in all, everything was great.

We booked a room in the center of all the Canterbury action, right in the center by the shops and Marlowe Theatre. Our room, the Stour room, was small but perfectly formed, with a good-sized bathroom that was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and polite, and the bar area was nice and relaxed. We had a great night's sleep on a comfy bed and enjoyed the convenience of the nearby car park.

Despite the lovely decor, it was pretty cold, especially with the door blowing open constantly. It was even more disappointing when our full English breakfasts arrived lukewarm, making them inedible.

The hotel's location right next to the Marlowe Theatre made it a perfect choice for us, as we were attending a show there. we were pleasantly surprised by the cheerful and friendly attitude of the staff, who promptly replaced a food item during breakfast. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, allowing us to move around easily.

There were some noise issues due to a nearby event, which somewhat affected our overall experience.

Superb location, characterful building, pleasant bar, friendly and helpful staff, great value for money, clean rooms with good facilities.
