We got great value for our money, with a comfortable and spacious room that had effective aircon and a lovely patio area with citronella candle and drapes for a cozy evening. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the river viewing area and nearby supermarket and shops. The staff, especially Boi in reception, were incredibly helpful and organized a taxi and river trip for us. We would definitely stay there again.

The beautiful deck overlooking the river provided the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The kids had a blast in the swimming pool, and it was such a relief to be able to keep an eye on them from our cottage. We also had a fantastic sunset boat cruise along the magnificent Chobe River, which was such a memorable experience. The pull-out sleeper couch was perfect for our children, providing them a comfortable place to sleep. an incredible family-friendly destination!

For dads, it would be great to have some more outdoor activities for the kids.

The location of the cottages is ideal, with easy access to Chobe National Park and Zimbabwe. Guests can enjoy a private deck overlooking the river, perfect for relaxing and watching the world go by. The cottages are well-equipped, with kitchen facilities, comfortable beds, and spacious terraces or verandas. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay.

The internet connection in some of the cottages can be patchy at times.

Our stay at this hidden gem was simply mind-blowing! The spacious and well-equipped cottages had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with cookware and kitchen utensils. We loved dining on the spacious terrace, which was curtained with mosquito screens for added comfort. The view from the platform overlooking the river was jaw-dropping, perfect for enjoying our morning coffee or a sundowner. We highly recommend this comfortable and private getaway.

We had an amazing two-week safari and were warmly welcomed at the Chobe River Cottages. The staff was excellent and our cottage was comfortable and spacious. They even did a fantastic job with our dirty laundry. The location was perfect for our family, with a small but clean and refreshing pool. We loved seeing warthogs and mongoose near the property. The staff also arranged affordable land and boat safaris, which were guided exceptionally well. it was the perfect place to stay while visiting Chobe.

Mind-blowing location with a supermarket, petrol station, and restaurants within a short walk. The cottages are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a separate kitchen and living room from the bedroom. The private parking was a super nice perk, especially when we were away on safari. The outdoor terrace and backyard with BBQ were jaw-droppingly fantastic. The pool was perfect for cooling off in the relaxing environment. And the free wi-fi, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and laundry facilities were great additions. Absolutely loved our stay!

Spacious cottage and beautiful sunset views. Excellent staff! I loved sharing my holiday experiences with the complementary wifi, like seriously, who doesn't want to be online all the time? And the swimming pool was perfect for keeping an eye on my kids.

Loved lounging on my verandah, sharing holiday stories with the slow wifi, while keeping an eye on the rowdy kids in the pool. Perfect base for exploring, if you're into border crossings and sunsets on the Chobe River.

Oh, and who doesn't enjoy passing through Pandamatenga? Such a delightful detour.
