I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at this hostel. Mario, the staff member, was incredibly helpful and made my stay even better. the rooms, although basic, were impeccably clean. I stayed in room number 3 and even had a unique experience of a chicken laying an egg on my porch! the breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options including bread, ham, cheese, fruit, and of course. Although it is a bit of a walk uphill from the beach, the beautiful and serene gardens make it worth the extra effort. a great place to stay while exploring the island.

The lush garden surrounding Pousada E Hostel Holandes made me feel like I was in the heart of the rainforest. The cabanas were clean and comfortable, complete with air conditioning and private bathrooms. While some of the staff didn't speak English, they were incredibly friendly and willing to assist. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and tidy. One of the highlights was the tranquil sleeping environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the village center. I highly recommend this cozy retreat in the Ilha Grande rainforest.

The location of the hostel is perfect, as it is close to the center of town and everything you need. You can easily walk to all the attractions and restaurants. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff who are always there to help. The breakfast offers a variety of fresh options, and there are beautiful gardens and sitting areas where you can relax and socialize.

The hostel lacks enough power plugs in the female dorm.
