Stayed at this charming hostel in the heart of Rio. Impressive terrace, free WiFi all over the place, and a convenient airport shuttle. Loved chilling at the on-site bar!

Couldn't sleep due to the "lovely" noise from the lively neighborhood. So thoughtful of them to give me earplugs the next day.

Excellent location, safe neighborhood, close to subway and amenities. Helpful staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds, and clean rooms.

We had a fantastic stay at Hospedaria Rio. the staff, including Thais and Danelo, were extremely friendly and passionate about their work. Their love for what they do was evident in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hostel. the location was excellent; just a few blocks away from the metro and within walking distance of a mall, restaurants, and supermarkets. the hostel itself was clean and had a lovely patio where we could relax. Our spacious room had a comfortable bed and the kitchen was well-equipped. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Rio.

Bathroom door doesn't lock and fruit flies in the shower were unpleasant.

The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. We loved the cozy backyard and the option to relax on the couches. the breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the homemade cake and fresh fruits. the hostel also organized parties and cinema nights, adding to the fun atmosphere. the location was perfect, with easy access to the city and beaches via metro or bus. We highly recommend this hostel for a relaxing stay in a great neighborhood.

Great location and friendly staff. The hostel is situated in a convenient area, close to everything you need. The staff members were friendly and spoke perfect English, making communication easy. The rooms were nice and cool with controllable air conditioning, providing a comfortable stay. The fully-functioning kitchen and chilled-out terrace were also great features that added to the overall experience.

One minor complaint was the presence of fruit flies in the shower. Although the hostel was generally clean, this issue stood out and made it slightly uncomfortable.

During my stay at Hospedaria Rio, I had a great time socializing with fellow travelers. The hostel's patio provided a welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to connect with people from different backgrounds. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The neighborhood of Botafogo felt safe, and the hostel's central location made it convenient to explore Rio with the subway nearby. I had a nice stay at this hostel.
